Arp’s at The Creede Hotel
A delightfully special place to eat in Creede.
The guestrooms hold their historic charm, but it's the restaurant that surprises; it's decidedly not small town. Established in 2015 by John Arp and Rhonda Brown, Arp’s at The Creede Hotel is a very popular lunch and dinner spot just along Main Street. It's fine dining without being too fancy—excellent food, good wines, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly hospitality.
John Arp was a very popular actor at the Creede Repertory Theatre for 7 seasons. In 2008 he got his chef license and began catering. After pursuing that for years, he realized his dream of running a restaurant and so Arp’s was born! The restaurant originally opened at a restaurant location further down the road but moved over to The Creede Hotel in 2018. With the patio, porch, and dining room all available to customers in the Summer season, Arp’s is able to seat and serve more people than ever! The porch and patio are favorited dining spots during warm sunny days with beautiful flowers, glistening aspens, and live music on Sundays.
Homemade soups, paired with a Balsamic Grilled Chicken Sandwich and a Garden Salad are high on the list of lunch favorites. Dinner selections showcase French classics with a New Orleans twist and other international comfort food. Our goal is to prepare the familiar flavors of home with an elegant touch.
